How personal data is handled when you visit the Sunterix website or contact the company.

2. Scope

This policy applies to visits to sunterix.com and to enquiries sent using the telephone number or email address shown on the website. The website does not currently provide user accounts, online forms, advertising pixels or behavioural analytics.

3. Data we process

  • Technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser and device information, referring page, approximate location derived from the IP address, and security or error logs.
  • Language preference stored in the first-party NEXT_LOCALE cookie.
  • Contact and business information you choose to provide by email or telephone, including your name, organisation, contact details, project information and message content.
  • Records needed to comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the website and its users.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Website delivery, reliability and security: the controller’s legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Language preference: providing the requested language version and website functionality (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); the cookie is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • Responding to enquiries and preparing a possible business relationship: steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and, where applicable, the controller’s legitimate interests in business communications (Article 6(1)(f)).

5. Recipients and hosting

Data may be available only to authorised personnel and suppliers that need it to provide hosting, content delivery, security, email, telecommunications, IT support or professional advice. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities when legally required.

The website is hosted using infrastructure provided by an external hosting provider. In connection with the operation and security of the website, the hosting provider may process technical data such as IP addresses, request data, timestamps and server logs on behalf of the controller.

6. International transfers

If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, the controller will apply the lawful transfer mechanism required for the actual processing arrangement, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.

7. Retention

  • NEXT_LOCALE is stored for up to 12 months unless you delete it earlier.
  • Technical logs are retained only for the period needed for security, diagnostics and service operation, subject to the hosting provider’s applicable settings and retention periods.
  • Enquiry correspondence is retained while the request or potential project is active and afterwards only as needed for contractual, accounting or legal-claims requirements.
  • Data required by law is retained for the statutory period; other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and complain to a supervisory authority. In Poland, the authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

9. Security and external links
